Shallow
People are shallow these days. Odds are if anyone is reading this, half of you are shallow too. Heck, I've become shallow in certain aspects.
I used to absolutely detest how when you finish watching a movie, at home or in the theatres, people get up right the moment it finishes. It seems to be a kneejerk reaction regardless if the movie was good or bad, the moment it's over you gotta get up and do something else, or instantly start talking. God forbid you do nothing for a minute, people might think you have no life!
In the earlier parts of my life, a decent movie would sink in properly during the credits, while scarcely noticing the moving text, listening to the music, pondering things. Someone getting up too soon would literally ruin the movie for me, just as if they had gotten up 5 minutes sooner before the movie was actually over.
Now I've started doing that too! Bah!
So do me a favor, the next few times you watch a good movie alone, don't move when the credits come on. Sit there, think a little, ponder whatever comes into your mind.

Yep - I'm pretty shallow.
I do like to stay until the end, though. I enjoy seeing the words
THE END
Ben O.
The End huh. Next time go for gold and wait for the portion where they say that no animals were harmed. Or if you want to be really daring, wait for the panavision logo that will pop up in 80% of all movies made in the US (Panavision is to films what Microsoft is to PCs).
Procrastination station, that's good. I'm the Grandmaster-Guru-King of procrastintation. By the looks of it you are a fellow high ranker too.
That mouse cheese thing is one of my favorite 'corollary' type proverbs.
Heh. Hi. I'm HubCap_Jane. I like hubcaps and I am shallow too :P
I prefer waiting till the very very end of the movie when the last of the credits roll by, at which time, the entire cinema is empty and the workers come and tell me "uhm, Ma'am, we are ready to close now."
I loved the drawings at the very end of the Return of The King too.. that was pretty good.
There are somme movies too, at the very end of the credits, they have some funny stuff written :D Those are fun.
Anyhooos... have a great week and hope to ttys. I have more depressing poetry to share with you - just don't offer me any prozac, kk?

Hugssss and tc,
